Amanda Hunter-Clawges

Amanda is a passionate and experienced voice instructor dedicated to helping performers find freedom, confidence, and authenticity in their sound. She obtained a Bachelor’s of Music in Vocal Performance from East Carolina University. In 2012, she was cast in her first Wilmington Theater show with Opera House Theater Company, Hairspray. Since then, she has been in or music directed over 30 shows in the community with companies such as Thalian Association, Panache, and Opera House Theater Company. Having been on stage and behind the audition table, she really enjoys working toward auditions and helping her students find the best way to stand out in “the room”. Her goal is to create a space where students feel supported, challenged, and inspired to grow.
